After having recently accused a news headline of severe extrapolation, suggesting that ads may be added to KDE because Qt devs wrote a framework for that, apparantly there's an argument in my mentions taking this allegation seriously.

Thankfully I barely see any of it since basically all the participants are blocked on my instance, but I do see a KDE dev defending themselves. Saying "Ads will not be added to KDE!"

Thanks for hiding this nonsense @downey !

The biggest shift in tech for the next years isn't blockchains or "AI" or quantum computing or some other buzzword. Or at least it shouldn't, mustn't be.

The biggest shift has to be to change away from "Innovation" as the main driver of work towards care and maintenance.
