Just looked in for a setting to tell it where to set the focus. Did'nt find what I've been looking for.

On my every time I switch to the firefox window or change the active tab the virtual keyboard pops up.

This is anoying. I guess it happens because firefox puts the focus on the address field.

...

@chrichri It's annoying, but it's also a good thing for everybody starting off with a blank tab, as it saves them one tap and waiting for the keyboard come up.

@linmob

Maybe it's only my way of using , but I have to tap a lot more often the keyboard away than I had to tap the address field in icecat on android.

How about you? What'd you prefer when activating the Firefox window or changing the tab on your linux mobile?

@chrichri I am mostly using GNOME Web these days, so ... Firefox, when I use it, usually come up with that "mobile config startpage", where I am totally fine with the keyboard being right there.

@linmob

I tried gnowe web, also. But I can't open the context menu by long tapping on a link.

It works fine using a mouse, but using the screen the menu shows until I remove my finger from the screen. I do not get the chance to select an item in the menu before it vanished.

I regularly open links in new windows or tabs and can't use that feature in gnome web.

@chrichri I suffer from that issue too, but given the limits of PinePhone, I am fine with it and try to accept the fact that I really should open less tabs, period.
