#ParentsOfMastodon, I'm curious, from what age did you first let your #kid be watched over by just their grandparents or another adult you trust, for a day or even a weekend? Also, in your house, or theirs?

Ideally I'd also like to know what country you're from, as I have a feeling there are some cultural differences when it comes to this, but I can understand if you'd like to keep that private. :)

I am trying to find a good screen reader and text to speech feature on GNU/Linux just like the on that is built into MacOS .

I want to be able to highlight text on any application (e.g. word processor or website) and then click a short cut key to hear it read out to me.
