Alright, to improve my programming skills, I have been advised to jump into test driven development. I'm not sure if it's a good idea, but i feel like I should use rust as the language to learn about that, since I really like rust. Then again, I don't really need such a low level language anyway, since python would do fine for me as well.. Decisions decisions ..
@vancha my advice is never listen to anyones advice when it comes to programming. They only want you to experience pain, no one cares about improving you. noone.
@vancha you know what? Maybe you should find someone with a bunch of old Uncle Bob videos they may be able to lend you, or read his clean code books. Mostly Java and Ruby stuff, but if you feel you need direction it's a good place to start in my opinion.
@anycode heh, to be honest someone suggested me to read exactly that this week. I've actually read part of the clean code book already, and I'm working through a playlist of robert martins' videos.
@anycode well, microscopes are cool too, but I prefer telescopes :P
I won't be satisfied until I have made (and finished) at least one moderately complex application from scratch.
