@Gina the presence of, and responsibility for, another’s tiny human can in fact be the most effective form of birth control. Of course it can also change one from Team #nope to Team #neeeeeed.
I’ve pretty much continuously been surrounded by children for whom I was somewhat responsible since about 1989. They’re all still alive. You’ll be fine.
@ajmartinez @Gina This is definitely true, my toddler has flipped several friends from "I'll never have children" to "I suddenly want to start a family more than anything in the world".
One specific friend broke up with her boyfriend because he was unwilling to have more children (he was older with adult children).
