As the @gstreamer 1.24 release is getting closer, this is a PSA that, as of the 1.23.2 pre-release, the playbin3 and decodebin3 are now considered stable and the preferred solution 🥳

The gst-play-1.0 CLI and libgstplay now use playbin3 by default, and we highly recommend application developers to switch to playbin3 and decodebin3 starting from 1.24.

Now is your time to install 1.23.2 and test your application with the new elements and report any issues before 1.24.
