@agx you seem like the person to ask; I have had pretty good luck with nerd dictation which is a tool for voice dictation using the vosk library. On my gnome desktop I have a shortcut bound to it and that gives native feeling voice to text (vtt) text entry feature everywhere you can type. The vtt part runs pretty well on mobile with the small model, but i havent been able to get the wayland intagration to work with phosh. Any chance something like that might get integrated into your keyboard in the future. Is that possible?

@hcal4 It seems nerd-input supports wtype so I should think a shortcut should work just as well with .

That said I had looking into phosh-osk-stub integration on my list for a while (added a short for that gitlab.gnome.org/guidog/phosh-)

@agx Im glad to hear its on your radar. I think regular users would appreciate the feature if it ever make it in.

Also, thanks for mentioning wtype. I was fighting ydotool, but wtype worked out of the box.
