The #Droidian project is pleased to announce the release of the 27th snapshot.

As usual, if you are already running Droidian trixie there is no need to reflash.

We want to thank everyone who has been running Droidian for the past few months.

This is going to be the first snapshot based on trixie.

@droidian Congratulations! I noticed you didn't update phoc. Is there an issue with switching to newer wlroots or just: we didn't get around to it? For the moment this shouldn't be a problem on phones.

@agx Droidian uses a fork of wlroots with our hwcomposer backend for usage with libhybris. The version of our wlroots fork is somewhere between 0.12 0.13 and 0.14 (patches cherry picked to keep it running). Phoc version 0.30 now depends on wlroots 0.16.x, but we are still on a much older version. Newer versions of wlroots have removed parts that libhybris hooks to. Without a serious rework to the backend and a lot of testing, we cannot bump phoc. So we decided to stick with 0.29 for now.

@droidian Makes sense. We currently don't have anything planned that would make phosh require a newer phoc so the 0.32.0 cycle should at least be safe.
