Last week parts of the #MobileLinux community got together at #FrOSCon and, dare I say, had a great time in our "FOSS on Mobile" devroom 🌈

Throughout two days we had some hacking, lightning talks, workshops and BoFs!

Saturday morning I had the pleasure of welcoming around 5 people (at 10:00 in the morning!)
to the room.

Lightning talks were scheduled on both saturday and sunday for 14:00 - 15:00.

Sadly I didn't take many pictures,
because I still had to finish up the slides for my presentation at 15:15 😅
But maybe someone else has taken any and is willing to share :)
Anyway:

@linmob gave a talk about linuxphoneapps.org

(slides are available at programm.froscon.org/2023/even)

We also had a talk about mobile routers using DD-WRT.

We may have had one more talk,
but I cannot quite remember currently, sorry

@linmob

Time flew by in my talk and I didn't manage to talk about everything that I originally had planned, but it was still pretty fun and I hope you enjoyed it as well!

Have a look at the slides here:

Directly afterwards we had the #phosh Get Together. If memory serves we must've been between 20 to 30 people (?) and lively discussions where had around all things #phosh and #MobileLinux

Thanks for coming!

In the evening we had the social event and enjoyed the rest of the day with food and drink 🍆 🍻

I even got the DJ to play #JethroTull and #kglw #kgatlw 🎸 🎶

On sunday the devroom was opened a tad later around 12:00.

Before the lightning talks
@kuleszdl talked about his experiences in supervising student projects in the FOSS Mobile space. #gnome #libadwaita

@devrtz @kuleszdl I found the student project very interesting as it showed on one hand nicely what gaps there are in the development workflow and documentation and on the other hand how far got us already to make apps easy.
