@shampoobottle I'll always prioritize the needs of our own community over outside influences. I believe that server admins need to have a backbone and not bend to the dystopic censorship policies of other instances. I'm focused on building connections with strong allies rather than fence sitters. I believe mastodon.social only has so many users because of interest in the technology, not because of how they run the platform. In the end this side of the Fediverse will win, and I plan to be a part of the solution rather than the problem. So keep being you. And in all honesty it probably wasn't just you, it's also that I have a reputation, I worked with Gab, etc etc. Surprised it took them this long honestly.
