i would be better if pleroma was made so you can just pick a default fe that you prefer instead for forcing everyone to agree on what pleroma-fe is supposed to be
@xj9 You can do that anyway, because pleroma works with Mastodon clients, and the Mastodon web UI is installed by default so you have both available.
@bob afaik there isn't an option that changes what is served when you visit the bare domain or link to an object in a notice
@xj9 True for the bare domain, but you only have to add /web. I suppose there could be an option for which way around that is.

that's what i meant by "pick a default fe". i don't want masto-fe either. i'd prefer something like brutaldon or similar which ideally isn't bundled with the server application.
