There’s a Shi’a #Mosque in the #Gothic section of #Barcelona, and ofc part of me is curious, especially with #Iran in the headlines this week. But it’s not for me or for any #Sunni #Muslim for prayer purposes.

(The first mosque where I ever donned #Hijab was Shi’a, however! It’s the #Islamic cultural center in #Curitiba, #Brazil.)

I think I finally located a #Sunni mosque in Barcelona with decent facilities for women. Many are open to women in theory, but they aren’t equipped, especially not for ablution, which really should not be done in a shared space. A kindly brother directed me to the one I’ll try tonight for sunset prayer Insha Allah.
