I'm incredible happy that we finally landed YUV support for #gnome45. It'll allow us to make video players much more efficient in many cases (like #embeddedlinux or #LinuxMobile, but also regular laptops/desktops) and especially make developing such features more pleasant on the desktop. I'll write more in detail about it soon.

I always did have one question in my head while watching this MR. If Collabora is heavily invested in Weston as its preferred Wayland Compositor for embedded linux usecases, why were they ok with you using work hours for adding a feature to Mutter?
@adilarif Many devs working at @collabora (as well as costumers of course) use #gnome. So the hope is that this will indirectly benefit Col. by strengthening the ecosystem.
