@tchambers Are we using "Mastodon" to describe the whole #Fediverse or is that measuring only the #Mastodon flavor of the Fediverse? Wondering if other Fedi instance types are also growing.

@blaine Why do you think email is broken? It's working great for me! There's such a huge ecosystem or email tools that any broken area that I can think of probably has a half dozen solutions already available.

@fluffy It's not diverse though, it's homogenous.

@rysiek If all servers used TLS enforced by DANE would that mitigate most of the metadata leak potential? Except the IPs of both ends, right? Does Matrix or XMPP federate without exposing IP addresses?
