If you want to delete all your old Twitter DMs (which I think is a good idea even if Twitter might retain copies of them somewhere), and also your historical likes, RTs, and any tweets you don’t want to keep, I made a Twitter app for that.
It’s called Semiphemeral and it’s pretty easy to use. I posted instructions for how to do it https://twitter.com/semiphemeral/status/1591258781098594304?s=46&t=L4aWvmyNxEFRL6eULgeO-A

OH, wow! Heck yeah it is!
What's the proper balance ratio between boosting other stuff and posting my own stuff? #FediverseEtiquette

Haha! Maybe he should buy Paypal. :)
Staying on #Twitter is a liability for major brands.
Yesterday a scammy Twitter-verified account (one that paid $8) posted as the pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly that "insulin is now free." This morning, Eli Lilly's stock dropped off a cliff.
Musk's manufactured chaos at Twitter is having very real economic consequences.
@t3kk I remember seeing other people talk about that, but I don't remember the consensu. Metatext maybe? https://apps.apple.com/us/app/metatext/id1523996615
@t3kk I don't use Apple stuff much, but the web app is pretty good! On Android, sometimes I use FediLab. Twidere supports both Twitter and Fediverse accounts.
@t3kk Well, did you hear that Mastodon 4 will have language translation capabilities? :) That'll be a great feature.

@t3kk Yeah, maybe this server is overloading.
@t3kk Yeah, I feel like joining smaller servers might be best. The one I'm on is run by a company that makes hardware, and I think they're really good at this. (They forked Mastodon and removed a bunch of junk like DMs, which I love.) I kind of want to learn how to make my own instance too though.
@t3kk Ah, but you didn't get the message to mastadon.org.uk? Maybe that one is overloaded?
@t3kk Hey Daron, how's it going? Are our instances communicating?
