@lutindiscret
2nd this! At least for the encryption compatibility. DC doesn't really "require" a chat style UX, (email works with any UI design) but a UI option that enables that style is definitely welcome.

Got to try some sweet new Lenovo laptops. https://pocketnow.com/hands-new-lenovo-slim-laptops
Also, if you prefer to still follow twitter users without an account and without using a bot mirror for mastodon, you can use #Fritter, a pretty decent client for Android that doesn't need an account to work, available on f-droid
For newbies here like me, a very good explanation of what is #Mastodon and the #Fediverse

Ha! I made my first mobile responsive site in 1999. Worked great on IE with CDPD on a PocketPC.
@leah Awesome. "Constanty" typo on page 18 though.
✨️ I made a thing! 🎉️
Check out my brandnew webcomic, "Contra Chrome":
Subtitle: How #Google‘s browser became a threat to #privacy and #democracy.
Featuring Shoshana Zuboff, vegan Piranhas, and everything you ever wanted to know about #Chrome but were afraid to ask!
Read and download for free – hope you like it! 😊
And if you do, please spread the word!
Thanks to @NLnetFDN and @NGIassure, the desktop version of Briar will get groups, forums and blogs. It will also run on Windows and MacOS.

I wrote another article about Briar so people know about a decent way to communicate in emergencies. https://pocketnow.com/how-keep-communicating-when-your-internet-disrupted
@alexandra The direction of pull of the strongest gravity field within range?
Here's a nice mid-range pen display. https://pocketnow.com/huion-kamvas-pro-16-pen-display-review
@naln1 @catgirl@flauschig.social Right, Briar won't work on iOS yet. Only Android & Linux so far. :-( Signal won't work if the internet goes down or its central servers are blocked, but it's better than Telegram or Threema.
@catgirl@flauschig.social Not on Telegram though! As the article says, that's a bad idea. This one too: https://www.forbes.com/sites/thomasbrewster/2022/02/25/ukraine-warned-over-danger-of-russian-spying-on-unencrypted-telegram/?sh=3757d8487f82

If you work in product, content or UX design, accessibility is part of your job.
Not someone else’s.
Pass it on.

I've been able to get my hands on the #TruthSocial source code (they do have a link to it on their website, although their website is not accessible to me).
They have disabled federation features. I absolutely expected that, just confirming it for others. It is just another walled garden.
@hypolite Ah! But seriously one of my clients sends out fake phishing emails to employees as a test to see who's following their security training.
@hypolite Maybe it's a test to see if you read the message. :D
Veloren is a FOSS open world multiplayer RPG, sort of like a cross between Breath Of The Wild and Minecraft. You can follow the official account at:
➡️ @veloren
It's available for Linux, Mac and Windows from the official website at https://veloren.net
Veloren includes online multiplayer options, and you can host your own server if you want to.
