Question for the Mastodon experts: which non-governmental organizations run their own Mastodon servers? Are there many? Does it make sense for an NGO to do so, if it is of a reasonably large size?
@andrewstroehlein I think it depends on how professional you want the org to look. For example, would you run a business using email accounts with AOL.com or Gmail.com domain names? Using your actual domain for social network, email, and WWW gives the org a lot more validity.
