In furtherance of an ongoing #introduction, in addition to #tax, #law and #technology I harbor a lifelong love for the Pine Barrens in #newjersey, where I'm from. Whenever I'm not at the cabin, I'm out there. My wife and I wrote a book on the folks lost and found out there, with more (books, that is) on the way:
@andrew Nice. I've been trying to tell electric motorcycle makers that they need a little cart to drop the battery out onto for rolling inside. Although now there's fire hazard talk: https://www.ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/news/2022/07/08/nycha-considers-ban-on-storing-e-bikes-inside-its-buildings
@adam That's a good idea. I think the fire hazard is coming from all the cheap junk on Aliexpress etc. As well as the DIY hacks.
@adam The Zero (motorcycle)? Not possible with this model, but they make one that makes it relatively trivial -- if a bit heavy (think 80% of a car battery). I opted for longer range and a fixed battery. The Rad Power Bike bicycle is easy, it's just like a big laptop battery.
