@lrhodes More than Dunbars-number (150-200) of active users on a server means you have an actual need for people to do jobs like moderation and system-administration and fund-raising. That's three jobs and they mostly do it alone.

I was more pleased to hear of hundreds of new instances than hundreds of thousands of new users.
