I was of the opinion #Fediverse is the FB replacement.

It is not any one thing, but the gestalt of many ways to be the publisher and the remain private. Ideas like #Purism 's #LibremOne which bundles many of the services under a single federated id may feel more like a FB replacement. As might some other form of #SSO.

(I take small issue with the idea of "irl". The internet is real. The people on it are too.)
