Sargon, you went on a very shallow level into this topic. The first thing to note is that there is a big difference between cuckoldry and so called 'open marriage'. You seem to conflate the two because you don't realize or acknowledge the origins of the term when it comes to human behavior.

It was invented in the 'world of kink' to describe a certain BDSM practice in the realm of Femdom ( female domination ), where the center of the issue is the power imbalance skewed in favor of a female dominant partner being able to engage in free sexual dalliances while the submissive partner is denied this option.
