when will a youtube app for #linuxmobile be created? freetube keeps breaking and plasmatube does not work on mobian. I hope plans fora new app is made soon, using firefox to watch videos is slow. >~<
@Supervisor Hey! I use an RSS feed to follow my favourite YouTube channels and then copy the URL to Video Downloader and download them at 1080p to my #Librem5. I can watch 1080p smooth in mpv. That’s the best solution I’ve found. Cheers! https://flathub.org/apps/com.github.unrud.VideoDownloader
@Supervisor And this removes all ads! I do this on my desktop now too. YouTube has seriously ramped up the ads lately.
