@vincent is there a way to opt out of these things? I've seen a few people now who've made the move over to mastodon but trying to find their account is burried by multiple twitter bridges.
Also if they have their tweets set to auto-delete this bypasses that unless they set their twitter profile to private.

One thing I would like to add but doesn't solve everything you mention would be to redirect all followers from bird.makeup to their actual fediverse account once they join and set their twitter username to their fediverse handle.
