I just deleted my twitter account. I actually feel sad about it. It used to be this amazing hive mind where I could learn or laugh at any interaction, but I can't stand seeing it becoming the platform of cyberbullies.
At the same time, I have never been this hopeful about the fediverse. I have been here for years, and it feels all the twitter magic is pouring here all of a sudden. #twittermigration

@vincent Did the same 1.5 days ago. The now-Twitter is not comparable to the much nicer Twitter from a couple of months ago. Also, yay, #ActivityPub makes the #Fediverse work so well!
@vincent I've been on Imgur throughout. The energy there has always been kind, warm and supportive. It's nice to see that kind of thing scale up like it's doing here.
Can I still delete my account if it’s been ‘permanently suspended’?
I have no idea how to manage anything actually.
