The next stage is decentralization and it will happen either gradually/proactively or catastrophically/reactively.
If people wait around until resources get so low that people are starving, then we are faced with a catastrophic decline. As urbanites kill each other off -- kinda like how governments are killing their citizens now -- until the population reaches carrying capacity.
Those people who are willing to move to rural areas, grow food forests, and co creation centres so they can produce everything they need locally. Will be able to escape most/all the depopulation related infighting.

Galactic federation is a more generic term. There are several such groupings. Like for example Ashtar Command and some Plaedians are different groups, that are not part of the Confederation of Planets.
Ashtar command seems to be a service to self outfit from what I can see.

The Milky way is 100,000 to 200,000 in diameter.
I think if there's other intelligent life in this universe, they know the real truth. They would know that they're not a separate part of this particular universe but they're the ultimate reality.

The guy who wrote my page was bad at writing but it talks about UFOs. I had only told him about one; the flying triangle.
Anyway, when I was a teenager, that sighting led me to read about aliens on the internet. Many of the conspiracy theories that I read about actually happened.
Some sites were talking about flying machines (vimanas) in old Hindu texts. So I read Hindu texts in 2005 (Upanishads, Ramayana, etc.)
I talked about ultimate reality earlier in that conversation, that would be the Brahman in Hinduism but the name doesn't matter.
So, that UFO that I saw when I was 10 years old really scared me for a long time but eventually led me to my spiritual awakening.

The future progressions also show this. Urban socialists have a future where they can't go outside due to asphyxiation . Wheras the new age Sylvan people live in food forest paradises.
