Oliver Sacks was a great author. His case studies of neurological impairments are well written, empathic, fascinating and haunting. I would highly recommend The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat.
It would be great to see various neurological impairments depicted in art. I remember wanting to create an area for a MUD based of a sorcerer used magical inflictions of various agnosias to challange adventurers. It never happened, I feared I wouldn't be able to do it justice especially with the mechanics I had to work with.
