I wonder if I should consider hosting my own social instance again.
@thrrgilag Pleroma is less resource intensive than mastodon. I think a lot of people running a single person/few people instance is running pleroma.

I host friendica for myself to communicate with friendica, diaspora and hubzilla and I host pleroma for myself to communicate with Pleroma, Mastodon and so on.

The more I think about it the more I realize I should be running my own social instance. I self-host just about everything else i do it was silly of me to drop it.
Now I just have to decide if I dust off the Friendica thing or try something like mastodon or pleroma. 🤔
