so over the weekend i texted this dude who said he might potentially want to possibly go on a date sometime

he responded the same day and said, “hey blessing, good to hear from you. you should check out usajobs.gov, they have a bunch of great jobs there”

uh.. so i didn’t respond cause like.. okay? why are you telling me this?

he sent me another text yesterday. “hey blessing, just wondering if you checked out usajobs.gov yet?”





...this is my dating life.

i still haven’t responded because i just have no idea what to say to that

@theblessing I think your friend is a bot now, otherwise they're the perfect people for MLM scams and and scams in general.

I probably wouldn't even bother responding honestly.

@8oSpades yeah. i’m kind of thinking of just... never responding. but that’s what i did to this guy two years ago, and then he managed to find me once again. 😖

@theblessing @8oSpades Just never respond then or tell him you're not interested, it's not like you two have gone on a date yet, and he does really sound like the stereotypical npc meme to an extent. So yeah, get out before you get in too deep... then again I have zero experience in the field of dating so what do I know.

@LarryFoulke @8oSpades we did go out on one date two years ago, but it was awkward and i thought he wasn’t having it because i sort of hinted at the fact that illegal immigrants make my life a living hell and he gave me a weird look. maybe he’s forgotten.
