Any client sucks.
Federation sucks. Although that might be synapses fault.

Purism has their own home server and offer matrix chat as part of their services. I'm not really sure how I feel about it. It does seem like something that could use more polish. I would've settled for XMPP which I think they'll be offering later on.

Would probably be better than whatever we have right now
