In Germany we don't have that "I'll die to defend your right to call for the extermination of minorities" attitude to free speech that I hear from Americans so often.
@Gargron That is not how free speech works in the US. What a disingenuous statement. Inciting violence is against the law and not protected as free speech.
I think @Gargron is just pointing out that that's the stance for many American citizens (which is true) and, since the restrictions against how far the first amendment can go are based on judicial precedence (at the very least, the restriction when it comes to the excitement of violence certainly is), there's always the chance for that to be overturned. And the two most recent judges to the supreme court have outright questioned precedence, too.
