Linux-first, Coreboot, EDK II... Looks like we'll soon have another lovely #LinuxMobile tablet and a perfect target for @mobian !

I would love to see an LTE modem integrated in such a device though, so I could finally get rid of my SGo 2

@awai LTE modems: If they're part of the SoC, they run the show. If they're not, they're ordinary USB devices. In either case, they add to the list price due to license fees, and noticeably so.

What _would_ be interesting in my opinion: a slot for such extensions set up in a way that it doesn't stick out. But I guess that's framework's territory, not Starlabs'.

@patrick Very true, but I'd be willing to add a few hundred bucks for such an option (if it's USB-connected)

An m.2 connector (and proper antennas already built into the chassis, which is likely a costly investment as well) for a USB-connected modem like the BM818 used in the @purism #Librem5 would be just perfect (see, I'm daydreaming again!)

I could of course deal with an external USB modem, but that's another device to carry (and not forget to pack), which I'd rather avoid

Nothing wrong with daydreaming!
