@purism That is great to hear! I have another problem: My social media app has to check for new posts on the server regularly. Currently I use the QTimer for the Linux version (with high power draw) and a JobService on Android in connection with a background service. Is there a similar feature compared to JobService on Linux? Should I use systemd-timer or cron or something similar? I think something like JobService would greatly improve battery life...
