Are you looking for an #email account with end-to-end encryption, no ads, no tracking and no data sharing? We have what you’re looking for https://librem.one #privacy #purism #libremone
@purism Hi, how do you do E2E-Encryption on Emails? I mean, K-9 and OpenGPG gives me decryption/encryption, but which app do you offer/use then for Linux and/or LibreOS? (waiting for the phone...)
@FriendlyGecko @purism this time, they did ;)
@rince @FriendlyGecko hehe we have someone dedicated to social and community now so you will see a lot more activity. The community's engagement has been great this week, lots of discussion and excitement :)
@rince yes through OpenGPG on desktop there are various clients that support it, out team use a mix of Thunderbird, Evolution and other FOSS clients.
@purism Hi, thanks for the clarification. _for me_ this means, it is no usecase for me, since I have OpenPGP running (interesting would have been encryption of mails while sitting on your side), but I have a mastodon account GPG running and (yet) a good vpn provider ;)
@rince glad to hear you're secure! keep it up :)
@purism will there be a way to have folders? If there is a way I haven't found it yet. I like to keep important messages in their own folder.
@an93lofdeath yes folders are possible, Librem Mail on Android is based on K-9 Mail, here's the user documentation which covers how to setup folders and other topics https://k9mail.github.io/documentation.html
@purism I am following this project very closely.
Thus far it does not fit my needs i.e. custom domain, user management and higher storage quota.
The great thing is that from what I see coming down the pipeline, this can easily become the GApps killer.
