@zudn quick question. I visit your home page, but I cannot make any sense out of it. What type of service is zap.dog? Is it a #Mastodon instance, cause I have never seen a web interface like that. Or is it #Plemora? Maybe #Friendica, either way, I am not familiar with it, can you show me some light about the subject?

@zudn, Yeah, it is really nice to see that now we finally have a protocol to communicate via social media. After all, this is the future. Now what we need is for someone to start selling small servers that we can all connect at home and have our own version of social media own our own servers. What I am liking about #zap is that it looks very artistic. it has a beautiful interface. 😀
I like it, am comfortable with it, have been around this and previous iterations for some time.
@zudn I think there is a software trying to implement what I am saying. This software is called #FreedomBox. It is a software that you can install on a small computer like a #RaspPi and with a click you can download a whole bunch of things like #VPN, #Calendar and now they are working on using #Plemora or #Mastodon with just one click.
@zudn maybe, right now I don't know. My problem with #FLOSS is that programmer don't make it simple enough to use and expect everyone to be tech savvy. I might be one, but not everyone can be. Obviously, lack of development is a factor and the fact that most programmers do work on their own free time. But now, I think we are going somewhere, slowly but moving.
