I so don't miss Windows... http://i.nl03.net/ltr6/?_m=3n.009a.2003.sb0ao0e4pk.18qg
@lwriemen every job I've had is windows. I've had a netbook before for windows to updated my resumes, etc years ago. But eventually I wiped it clean.
@pkimpton I hate Microsoft with a passion. My oldest son makes fun of me for never letting an Xbox into our house. I just tell him, you've never seen all the good technologies that Microsoft killed.
I'm dead set in my belief that Microsoft's anticompetitive monopoly set computing back 20-30 years.
@lwriemen right, besides PS4 is better. But in any case M$ kills everything in due time.
@lwriemen As far M$ setting computing back x amount of years not doubting that at all. Granted I have an old Xbox360 with some good games, but I'm thinking about hacking the console for another purpose. As I might only fire it up like once a month when I'm in a gaming mood.
I pulled what little I had on One Drive I keep getting emails "you haven't backed anything up." Oh I did but offline. lol
@pkimpton I've never used Windows on a personal system, only at work (and not by choice). High school was pre-MSDOS, college was too poor to own a computer, and professional career was OS/2 then Linux. On the job, I went from DOS to Unix to Windows to Linux to Windows.
I work on embedded systems, so most of the time the tools work on either Linux or Windows and I can choose Linux. Unfortunately, not the case at current job.
