and i already had to rewrite 2/3 of the notes that led to the blog post idea because i found a lower-friction way to do the thing
Attention wandered for a bit, but I got code that does the thing and an only slightly sketchy story. Next I ponder how much to clean up the code and how much to fill out the story.
