I have just realised something stupid...

Given how absurdly often I miss my train, it would be more efficient for me to leave the house at a completely random time instead of trying to catch a specific train.

- Randomly arriving at the platform for a train which departs every 30 minutes: Average waiting time of 15 minutes.

- Trying, but just missing that train 70% of the time: Average waiting time of 21 minutes.

@draemmli we have so much mobile compute power nowadays, you should be productive with any of these. Which leaves me with the thought of: "When did i last time had the time for waiting?"
