The narrative power of secondhand smoke galvanized the anti-tobacco movement of the 1980s. It could do the same with car bloat today.

@davidzipper Interesting connection. For a while, there was talk about taking on sugary beverage industry using the anti-tobacco playbook. But I think you are right that that analogy misses a key element, but SUV bloat does have that element.
