Ok so my wife saw this on the internet and it became a VERY hotly debated question in our household:

If I say “The noon meeting got moved forward by two hours”, what is the new meeting time?

@avojak I do feel like within context of the conversation and the inflection and maybe even hand gestures used, it could mean either and be understood. Usually I still clarify the time.
