Wait, what? UK had elections in 1935, then the next one was scheduled for 1939 but was suspended because the WW2 broke out. The next elections only happened in 1949, two months after war ended but effectively ten years after the previous ones. What is he talking about, maybe I just don’t understand what he says correctly?
