You're probably right! But somehow, unlike the supporting cast, I was never finding the main heroine appealing — not enough to justify all the hype and not enough to delve into it myself. Knowing (more or less) what the plot is about, I would probably like her, but visually — no, maybe I'm just prejudiced against the elves 😬

@m0xee @moth_ball @kaia @solidsanek Frieren is amazing but she's not an "exciting" character, her moments are far apart and subtle. Fern has many fun scenes but she's the most woman woman to ever woman in all of anime. Ubel is retarded but in a good way, easily the most fun of the three.
@hakui @kaia @solidsanek @moth_ball @m0xee Ye, but very much not honest with her feelings, and prone to expecting people to know what she's thinking and get upset if they don't, so to me, Frieren and Ubel, and even Serie, are a lot more appealing. I like honest people above everything else.
