Despite doubting Trump's basic competence, the U.S. media displays profound faith in the Orange Man's influence over Russia in Ukraine. Not only are Russian battlefield gains attributable to Moscow's supposed race against Trump's inauguration, but Trump will "push Moscow into peace talks" once in office!

No one expects him to be particularly competent, I think he doesn't fully understand the situation yet — much less how to deal with it. But Trump is able to act unpredictably — something Pooteen expects only he himself can do.
