... Now I'm ending the vast majority of days with 20-30% battery left, and it's not like the OnePlus 6T has a supermassive battery. It's only 3300mAh, which in Android terms is like taking a road trip with your GameGear and only bringing 18 AAs (lmao).
It probably doesn't hurt that literally zero apps on this device send me irrelevant notifications saying things like "haven't seen you in a while" or "how was your trip to Wendy's?" or "get 10x the points!" ...
@gordoooo_z
My Android device can last 5-7 days on one full charge when it's not acting as a VPN gateway. On Sailfish it can only last up to two days. The explaination — I barely use it 😅
With pmOS, I expect my battery usage/charging patterns would be the same as that of an average person using mainstream mobile OS.
@m0xee I started getting full days on Android when I got burned out and started hating using my phone lol, but considering putting pmOS on this thing has made me actually enjoy my phone for the first time in a year, this is pretty damn good battery life. I haven't done any real measurements, so consider this all anecdotal / "vibes" lmao

I feel you! The distaste for modern technology I've developed over the years might be one of the reasons I'm procrastinating and subconsciously sabotaging getting a job in this field 😩
@m0xee Most definitely. I'm self-employed, so it's a little different, but there's a hard limit to how picky I can be with people/businesses who want to give me money in exchange for services, and wow is this not the world wide web I grew up on :/ It's getting harder and harder not to feel ways about every Google Analytics tag I install, but nobody's paying me for my ideals.
