The keyboards of old MBPs were certainly better than those of the later ones, copied from cheaper plastic MacBooks.
I have such machine collecting dust, but it's in a really bad shape: the case is all scratched and the display panel is broken in half (it wasn't me😱), I remember it also exhibiting random freezed when I attempted to get it running — restoring it at this point would probably cost a fortune.
@m0xee ouchhh tbh if u can find another one for parts it might be cheap tho these suffer from gpu failures

Ha-ha-ha, that's what I mean: finding another one in working condition might be cheaper, if something is going to get disassembled for parts, its the machine I have 😄

the 2007s and 2008s that have the GeForce 8600M GT all suffer from it but NVIDIA made a revised one that doesnt fail so yeah at least theyre fixable
