What is so attractive about being female?

Nothing! Being an attractive female on the other hand… Or a rich and powerful male — I suspect at least for some seeking transition that might be a motivation. To their disappointment it's not about gender roles only and switching those won't help.
I don't really share wanting to be rich/powerful/desirable either. Unless the power helps me fix the problems in the world.

Most people just want attention, to be loved — something way more basic.
Oh, well yeah. I want that too. I misunderstood what you meant.
I mean. I want to be loved. But I want to be loved for who I am, rather than for being rich, and to a lesser extent physically attractive.
