I think AI will kill off a non-trivial percentage of the population, not via killer Skynet, but simply by following its shitty instructions. It's like the 2020s version of the anarchist's cookbook.

Yeah, people have been following shitty advice long before AI, but true — this "shitty advice as a service" might speed things up quite a bit. At times I'm lead into the stupor by comments like "I've asked ChatGPT about it and this is what it told me" — like this shit is even worth considering 😅
