I love booting up my GNU system running GNU Hurd in order to use my GNU programs such as GNU Emacs and GNU Hello. Using GNU Emacs, I can write all my programs in GNU C with GNU C Library functions. GNU make allows me to write scripts to build all my GNU approved software with ease.
@kirby I love booting up my FreeBSD system running FreeBSD in order to use my FreeBSD programs such as FreeBSD nvi and FreeBSD cat. Using FreeBSD nvi, I can write all my programs in ANSI C with clang functions. FreeBSD make allows me to write scripts to build all my BSD approved software with ease.
@m0xee @kirby I love booting up my GNU free system running GNU free Alpine Linux in order to use my non-GNU programs such as non-GNU vim and non-GNU tar. Using non-GNU vim, I can write all my programs in C99 with musl C Library functions. POSIX make allows me to write scripts to build all my GNU free software with ease.

@pantherastare @kirby
Yeah, right! Now that I think about it, don't they have their own standard C library in FreeBSD? 🤔

@pantherastare @kirby @m0xee all? not even cproc and cparser can compile everything. Can you compile Linux?
