Well, that's a lot if you don't have plenty of time!
A lot of people don't have company-provided lunches and they can't afford having a lunch at a Cafe if they are saving every penny β they have to cook their lunch too. And breakfast β you can of course not have it, but if you're eating bad food irregularly, that's even worse.
All in all β a lot of time! Most prefer to spend it on their hobbies.

Corporate overlords? I'm not even employed at the moment: I can enjoy cooking all day everyday and still have time left to spend on Fedi π
But even when I was, I could afford way more than an average person could. Let's not forget that at least three of us aren't married and work in the field where the amount of effort you put into your work might cause a lot of stress, but also gets disproportionately rewarded.

We aren't really representative of what the average working person is and might simply be unaware of what challenges said person is facing. Sure, health is important. You know it, I know it β enables you to enjoy more things and enjoy them longer. But what the motivation for our average person would be? Enjoy more grind? π
