This government did a lot to make sure there are plenty of widowed Arya-chans "on the market", if that is your thing… 😏
@santiago
Yes, I have an electric heated pad and they practically live on it in Winter!
They prefer wearing their sweaters even when sleeping on it — they can take them off themselves when they are hot, but they rarely do that, they LOVE warmth.
As the pad is rather small, they sometimes start fighting over it and as this breed has matriarchy that tiny cat makes the bigger fella leave. He has a spot behind the TV near a centrally heated wall where she doesn't go — I call it his office 😹

@m0xee @romin One of ours (Marx 🐱) will literally sleep on anything or anyone that is warm. Computers are his favorites . He hates these colds Apple M1 things and favors a good RaspBerry Pi 4 in a case or a vintage computer.
As I am writing this the little furry thing is sleeping between me and my spouse. Yeah, it’s Saturday and it rains so that’s the plan for now.
@santiago
A lot of people who have cats let their furry friends do as they please when it comes to sleeping on computers — not me. They know I don't like it and they almost never do it — they are surprisingly disciplined and I did very little to make it so, there are only a couple of cables they chewed on when they were younger. Especially the bigger one, which arrived to my home when he was 1 y.o. or older, the smaller one is more mischievous, but doesn't cause much trouble either.
@santiago
It's like they somehow came pre-trained 🤷
Mine are cuddly too — they enjoy human interaction. They sometimes do things they aren't allowed when I'm at home and they are seeking attention. The bigger one — Grisha, had a habit of sitting down on the laptop that I had in front of the TV, it was off most of the time so not even warm. So he was sitting down and looking at me — he knows that I won't be able to ignore him and that I have to come and pick him up 😹
