I agree with this, facts win in the long run, you can't base everything on emotion — it's too volatile: today you may win the people over, tomorrow you might fail to feel what they are up to and might even lose all of their support by saying something out of place and stupid. Humour is powerful, but there should be more to it, facts help build trust!

I have to admit that I've used name-calling and twisted Elon Musk's name a couple of times myself 😜
But I also know how off-putting it can be in a different context, this is not the way to go if you're attempting to make someone change his or her mind — if you call the one this person respects names, you opinion gets immediately discarded, if you want to be heard, you have to drop the shibboleths common in your circle and speak their language.
